After eleven years performing in Mexico City, and 3 years of rehabilitation at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Keiko arrived in Iceland, his home country. I found these old clips of Keiko from 1999 and put them together to make this video. In this video you can see Keiko at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. This 2 million gallon habitat served as Keiko’s rehabilitation tank. Keiko was released into the wild in his home waters of Iceland in the summer of 2002, but passed away in December of 2003.
