This song was so important to me that it stretches over three albums from “Weather Systems” to “Eggs” to “Armchairs.” The outtake from the “Eggs” boxset was recorded first, then the loopy version for “Weather Systems” as a proof of concept for the looped ostinato pizzicato part, then a few years later in a Minneapolis basement we recorded Imitosis.
