More than 175 firefighters battle massive fire near downtown Baltimore

Baltimore City Fire Department is currently in the scene Fire Box 36-11 battling a two alarm fire involving a large pile of vehicle tires in the 1300 block of Moreland Avenue in West Baltimore. Companies are making good progress and there are no reported injuries. Company owners aided fire department members in the use of their large bulldozers to move and spread out remnants of burning tires that greatly contributed to quickly extinguishing this large fire.
